Liverpool defender Glen Johnson blasted Newcastle United's James Perch over Pepe Reina's dismissal on Sunday.

Perch collapsed in a heap clutching his face after minimal contact from Reina during the Magpies' 2-0 win.

Reina was shown a straight red card and is now out of the Reds' Wembley clash against Everton on Saturday, April 14.

Johnson hit out at Perch's conduct tweeting: "What have I just seen? Is Perch for real? Joke."
