Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson is facing a scan on his groin injury.
The experienced right-back confirmed that he had torn his groin midway through the first half in defeat at Manchester United and is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Johnson, who is out of contract at the end of the season, will have a scan to confirm the full extent of the damage.
However, the initial fears are that he's likely to be out for at least a month.
