Malaga's need for cash could benefit Liverpool who are being linked with a £4million move for Ignacio Camacho.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Spanish club may be forced to offload the 25-year-old midfielder for a cut-price this summer as they face financial difficulties.
Liverpool have been scouting the former Atletico Madrid man and are expected to make a move for him at the end of the current campaign.
Camacho has a release clause of £8m but the Andalusian outfit are considering halving that as they are desperate for money.
