Liverpool continue swap talks with Blackpool over Adam

Liverpool hope to close a deal for Charlie Adam by offering players to Blackpool in exchange.

The Sun says the Reds are still hunting him despite being knocked back in January.

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston insists he is under no pressure to sell, even though Adam has only a year left on his contract.

But Liverpool hope £8million, the loan of Jonjo Shelvey, 19, for the entire season, and right-back Stephen Darby, 22, will tempt Blackpool into doing business.

Adam, 25, has his heart set on Anfield and would become Kenny Dalglish's second summer signing after Jordan Henderson's £20m capture from Sunderland.
