Liverpool have signed Portuguese young gun Joao Carlos Teixeira from Sporting Lisbon.
The 19-year old Portugal youth international will go straight into the Reds' youth academy, costing the Anfield club around £850,000.
Liverpool have been keen on the midfielder since his brilliant showing against the Reds youths in the NextGen series back in August.
