Liverpool have announced this morning Philippe Coutinho has avoided serious injury.
Coutinho picked up a hamstring injury in Saturday's 4-1 demolition of Manchester City on Saturday and he is unlikely to be available for Thursday night's Europe League game with Bordeaux.
But a scan on Monday night showed the damage to Coutinho's hamstring was minor, and Liverpool have told Sky Sports News HQ he could recover in time for Sunday's meeting with Swansea City.
The Brazil international scored his side's second goal against City before being taken off after 63 minutes and replaced by Jordon Ibe.
