Liverpool are confident Danny Sturridge will be fit for their clash with Tottenham.

Sturridge missed last Saturday's win at Wigan with a thigh problem but trained on Thursday and will start at Anfield provided he suffers no reaction.

Assistant manager Colin Pascoe said: "Daniel is looking good. It was his first day training and he trained well."
