Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is unsure whether Fernando Torres will play again this season amid reports he requires another knee operation. It is reported that Liverpool fear their injury-plagued forward will again need surgery after going under the knife in January and that his season - and even World Cup participation - could be over.
And Benitez is anxiously awaiting an update, saying in the News of the World when asked if Torres will feature again in the current campaign: "I don't know.
"He feels good and says the knee is fine, but we need the opinion of the specialist.
"He was supposed to see the specialist on Friday, but because of the cancelled flights there was a problem."
