Liverpool assistant boss Sammy Lee was reportedly involved in a row with Middlesbrough officials at the end of Saturday's defeat.

The Times says after the loss at the Riverside Stadium, it is understood that Lee became embroiled in a verbal exchange with Middlesbrough's groundstaff as Benítez's assistant attempted to lead his players in a warm-down. Stewards eventually intervened.
