Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Inter Milan striker Luc Castaignos.

The young Dutchman held talks with Liverpool in January and visited Anfield, only for the move to be blocked by Inter.

However, Inter are now prepared to reopen talks over Castaignos' sale, which is welcomed by Dalglish.

Dalglish has declared he has the cash backing to sign players capable of "growing with Liverpool".
