Liverpool are believed to be close to signing Dejan Lovren from Southampton.
Sky Sports reports that the 25-year old Croatian centre-back is set to undergo a medical with the Reds on the weekend before completing a £20million move from St Mary's to Anfield.
Lovren joined the Saints from French club Lyon for £8.5million last summer and had a stellar debut season in England, making 31 Premier League starts.
If Lovren's transfer does happen to go through, he will become the third high-profile Southampton player to join Liverpool following the big-money move of Adam Lallana and signing of Rickie Lambert.
