Liverpool close in on European goal record

Liverpool are just one goal off setting a new club record in European competition.

The Reds took their tally to 34 with a 5-0 win over Porto in their Champions League last-16 first leg.

This total equals the mark set by Rafa Benitez in 2007/08.

However, it took Benitez's side 14 games to get to 34 goals. Klopp's men have played just nine.

They will have the chance to break the record on Tuesday night in the second leg against Porto.
