Liverpool clinch deal for Stockport wing kid Crowther

Liverpool are set to clinch a deal for Stockport County youngster Ryan Crowther.

The 18-year-old winger, who has made just two appearances for the Hatters' first-team, impressed for the Reds during an international tournament in Milan and the Anfield club have now agreed a fee, with a routine medical set to take place on Monday.

Greg Tansey - another member of the Youth Alliance League Cup winning side of last season - also went to Italy with Liverpool but will stay with County.

Liverpool recently signed 14-year-old goalkeeper Ben Robinson from County's school of excellence.
