Liverpool showed total support to Brad Jones and his family following the loss of his son Luca.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish headed a club delegation, including managing director Ian Ayre and Damien Comolli, as they took a private jet and a fast car to France for the funereal in St Tropez.
Dalglish insisted on attending as the club paid their respects to the Australian reserve's lad Luca, who lost his fight against leukemia.
"Liverpool were magnificent to do this," a source told the People.
"Kenny and the party were first to arrive and last to leave. It was a very kind gesture and showed how much they care and look out for people."
