Liverpool are scoffing at Barcelona plans for a new attempt to sign Philippe Coutinho in January.
After being stonewalled by Liverpool in August as they attempted to sign the Brazil international, who had seen a transfer request rejected by the Reds over the summer, Barca will try again in the New Year.
However, El Mundo Deportivo says Liverpool have scoffed at Barca's plans to bid for the midfielder.
Barca intend to offer a base cash proposal of €80m, plus bonuses, for Coutinho. A plan which Liverpool won't give a second's thought.
"If they have the money to pay for Coutinho, then they should pay," said a Reds source.
