Liverpool chiefs fear Suarez will quit Premier League over abuse

Liverpool chiefs fear Luis Suarez will seek to quit England in the summer.

The Daily Star says Suarez is ready to walk out on English football.

His reputation is in tatters after he was found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra and banned for eight games.

The disgraced striker apologised belatedly yesterday to anyone who may have been offended - although pointedly did not mention Evra.

But the Uruguayan, who was also fined £40,000, fears he will become a hate figure with rival fans and a target of abuse from the stands.

He is also worried that he could become a marked man with opposing players and referees, and reckons he could be driven out of the Premier League.

As a result there are fears that Suarez who joined from Ajax 12 months ago, will quit Anfield in the summer.
