Liverpool chief Rick Parry admits Andrei Voronin would not have seen much action if he had remained at Anfield this season.

In his column for liverpoolfc.tv, Parry wrote: "We also released Andriy Voronin to Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan. Given the players we have brought in, his chances would have been restricted. It's a good opportunity for him to play again in the Bundesliga."
