Liverpool chief Rick Parry has confirmed Fernando Torres is out of tomorrow's high noon date with Manchester United.

Writing in his regular column on Liverpool's official website, Parry stated: "Our league record against United has been poor in recent times and so we've got to put that right, despite the absence of Fernando Torres through injury."

Torres suffered a hamstring injury against Aston Villa.
