Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore is delighted with their swoop for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.

The Reds have confirmed that the Guinea international will join on July 1 2018 after a deal was sealed with the Bundesliga outfit.

Moore took to social media to welcome Keita.

“On behalf of all of us LFC, we welcome Naby Keita to the family," Moore tweeted.

“Have a great year at RB Leipzig and we look forward to seeing you in 2018!"

Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg also expressed his delight at landing Keita as he tweeted: "Great to get him on board!"
