Liverpool are set to miss out on want-away Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Anfield sporting director Damien Comolli met with Toulouse directors this week to discuss a summer move for the 21-year-old, says The Sun.
But the Kop suffered a blow as Sissoko said: "I need a new challenge. I need to be playing in the Champions League."
Tottenham are also interested in the France international.
