Liverpool chief Damien Comolli plans to go back to former club St Etienne for one of their brightest young talents.
Comolli, who was sports director at Les Verts before leaving for Liverpool last year, is chasing teenage striker Idriss Saadi.
Saadi, 18, is a striker and a France youth international.
RMC says Comolli has already made contact with his former employers and is convinced he can land the youngster for £5 million.
Saadi has tasted first team action for St Etienne, but is yet to bag his first goal in Ligue Une.
