Liverpool chief Comolli makes Barcelona striker Bojan priority target

Liverpool chief Damien Comolli wants to bring Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic to England in the summer.

AS says Comolli has made the 20 year-old Spain international a priority target for the close-season transfer market - and Krkic is open to the idea.

tribalfootball.com can reveal Krkic considered a move to the UK in January, with Barca informing intermediaries a transfer to Celtic would be considered. However, the deal never was pushed through after coach Pep Guardiola refused to let the striker leave in midseason.

It's now emerged Liverpool are ready to open talks with Barca about a permanent transfer for Krkic, who is fed-up with the lack of regular first team action he's seen under Guardiola.
