Liverpool chief Damien Comolli is weighing up a move for unsettled AS Roma midfielder Jeremy Menez.
Menez, 23, has hit out at Roma coach Vincenzo Montella over the lack of first team action he's seen since the caretaker replaced Claudio Ranieri.
Comolli is a big fan of the Frenchman and has the midfielder on his shortlist of targets as he seeks a playmaker ahead of the summer market.
Menez actually turned down Manchester United as a 16 year-old and earlier this year confessed a hope that Sir Alex Ferguson would not hold that against him as he has ambitions of playing at Old Trafford.
