Liverpool striker Iago Aspas is on the brink of joining Sevilla.
The Liverpool Echo says Reds chief executive Ian Ayre has flown to Spain to thrash out the deal for the 26-year-old striker's exit.
It is likely to be a season-long loan but Liverpool would be happy to make the move permanent if they can recoup a large chunk of the £8m they paid Celta Vigo a year ago.
Liverpool were prepared to offer Aspas as a makeweight to try to finally secure the services of Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.
However, those two transfers now look set to be completely separate deals.
