Liverpool chief Ian Ayre has questioned Manchester United's ability to compete in the summer market.Liverpool missed out on numerous targets last summer because they did not have Champions League football to offer, a fate that will now confront United.
United's status as one of the biggest club's in the world will carry a certain appeal, but Ayre said: "You get a little bit of that, but there is definitely a challenge. That's the reality."
