Liverpool and Chelsea target Ben Gibson will not be sold by Middlesbrough this summer, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Middlesbrough endured a difficult campaign in the Premier League this term which culminated in relegation into the Championship but nonetheless, the performances of centre-back Ben Gibson has to be considered as one of the few positives for Boro.

Gibson's displays have caught the attention of the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea but the Daily Mail have claimed that the 24-year-old will not be sold by Middlesbrough this summer, with owner Steve Gibson intent on keeping hold of his nephew at the Riverside Stadium for the foreseeable future.
