Porto management are preparing to make a new contract offer to Fernando.
Fernando will be on show tonight against Europa League opponents Manchester City and is on the shopping lists of Chelsea and Liverpool.
The midfielder is tied to Porto until 2014 and O Jogo says management are nervous about losing him in the summer to big spending English clubs.
