Villarreal prospect Mateo Musacchio is attracting Premier League interest.
Liverpool academy chief Rodolfo Borrell has recommended the Argentina U20 international defender to Reds boss Kenny Dalglish.
Borrell was tipped off about Musacchio's progress by his Spanish spies.
While regarded highly at Villarreal, the youngster could be sold if a bid of €5 million arrives in June.
