Liverpool could launch a summer raid to prise Keane away from Turf Moor having ramped up their interest in him.

Jurgen Klopp is said to be assessing his defensive options with the former Manchester United youngster a possible target.

Burnley are thought to be steadfast in their desire to keep hold of Keane though.

And they could force Liverpool, or any potential suitor, to stump up more than £20m for the centre-back.
