Liverpool are chasing Borussia Dortmund attacker Shinji Kagawa.

The Japan international has spoken of interest from Manchester United and has ambitions of playing in England.

However, Kagawa is in new contract talks with Dortmund and has indicated a willingness to extend his stay.

Liverpool chief Damien Comolli has been eager to bring an Asian icon to Anfield and along with Kagawa, has also made serious enquiries after CSKA Moscow's Keisuke Honda.
