Liverpool are interested in Bayern Munich defender Dante.
The Daily Express says Dante had appeared destined for Manchester United during the January transfer window, however a last minute change of heart saw the Brazilian stick with the Bundesliga champions.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the 30-year-old - reportedly being seen by Jose Mourinho as an ideal replacement for David Luiz.
Now Liverpool have entered the fray, and are desperate to beat both Man Utd and Chelsea to the centre-back's signature.
