The race for PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali is heating up.

With less than a year to run on his deal, the 18 year-old midfielder is up for sale at PSV and attracted an approach from Liverpool.

Belgian sources state the Reds lodged a bid for Bakkali last week.

However, Eindhoven Dagblad says Atletico Madrid have made an enquiry in recent days about the youngster's situation.

Atleti feel they can do business for €2-3 million.
