Reds chief Damien Comolli has made the capture of a new wide player a priority for the summer market.
Rennes midfielder Sylvain Marveaux, Hamburg's Eljero Elia, an attacking midfielder, and Seville winger Diego Perotti are all in the frame.
Marveaux has already visited Anfield this season and is off contract in June.
