Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson will be sidelined for the weekend's meeting with Arsenal.

The Reds midfielder missed Monday night's 3-1 loss to Leicester City because of a foot injury.

Asked for an update on Henderson after the Foxes defeat, Klopp indicated that his captain would likely be out for Saturday's visit of the fourth-placed Gunners.

"It looks like he will not be ready for Arsenal," said Klopp.

"That's how it looks but I'm not sure, we will see."

Fifth-placed Liverpool missed the chance to go third on the Premier League table by losing in the East Midlands.
