Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says Fabio Capello has England playing without fear.

England go into next year's World Cup as one of the favourites.

Gerrard told TalkSport: "I think he's certainly made the team more organised. He's certainly got the team playing without fear, without that weight of expectation on our shoulders and that was certainly obvious under previous managers and I certainly felt that playing for England before Fabio come in. I feel as if my performances have improved under Capello because I'm going out there without the fear and playing similar or close to how I feel when I go on for Liverpool.

"If you look at the last two games that we've played against Brazil and Spain, obviously we've been beat so we do realise that they are still going to be more favourites than us but I think evidently in them games there's not much in it, it's really close. If we can keep everyone fit and keep improving and moving in the right direction, on a one-off game, I'm confident we can turn them teams over."
