Liverpool edging closer to a Bosman deal for Rennes winger Sylvain Marveaux.
The Sun says the French midfielder will join on a free transfer from Rennes after putting pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £60,000 a week.
Liverpool have been tracking Marveaux for months and were confident of securing his services once it was clear he was not going to sign a new deal with Rennes.
The former France Under-21 midfielder, 25, has yet to make the breakthrough and receive a senior call-up for Les Bleus.
