Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers won't consider selling Luis Suarez.

The Uruguay striker has been linked with Juventus in recent days.

A source close to Suarez told The Sun: "It is thought Juventus were about to offer £16million or try to broker a cash plus player deal involving Eljero Elia or Milos Krasic.

"But Rodgers has spoken with Luis to gain his confidence and explain the new project and his role in the team. Luis is calm about everything."
