Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to keep hold of goalkeeper Pepe Reina. The Spain goalkeeper, 30, has three years left on his lucrative deal and has been linked with Barcelona.

But Rodgers does not want to off-load the man who has also had interest from Arsenal.

"I have given him and a few of the senior boys here a real responsibility and I think they have enjoyed that," he said.

"I see him as someone who is hopefully going to be here."
