Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers plans to use cash raised from Andy Carroll's sale on two young England stars.

The People says Rodgers – working within a budget – has already earmarked the £17m for spending on Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea and Thomas Ince from Blackpool next month.

Liverpool’s owners are willing to let Rodgers spend on the pair – and possibly others – because Carroll’s sale is seen as a certainty.
