Liverpool are reviving their bid for Chelsea fullback Ryan Bertrand.

The Mirror says Brendan Rodgers wants to sign Chelsea's out-of-favour left-back Ryan Bertrand.

Rodgers is keen but could face competition from Merseyside rivals Everton who are likely to move in if they sell Leighton Baines.

Jose Mourinho is ready to let Bertrand go but Chelsea's dilemma is whether to sell to a direct rival and Liverpool could face a battle to get him.
