Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers sees Andre Wisdom's long-term role at fullback.

Wisdom - who signed a new long-term contract with the club last summer - has been a regular for England youth teams for several years, but has operated most often at centre-back.

However, Rodgers sees no reason why he cannot shine on the right.

"When I came in, Andre Wisdom had been playing a lot at centre-half but he has the physical and technical capacity to play full-back," said the boss.

"The modern day full-back has a lot of the ball and he has got to have strength, pace and power. Andre has that."
