Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is planning a double raid on Wigan Athletic this summer.
The Times says Rodgers was at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as Wigan were relegated to watch Latics winger Callum McManaman and midfielder James McCarthy.
Scouser McManaman was rejected by Everton as a junior.
