Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers doesn't want to make a decision on Alberto Aquilani until he sees him in action.

Rodgers is keen to assess him first-hand before deciding if he can fit into the style he wants at Anfield.

The club are hopeful Aquilani will be on the plane on Monday when Liverpool leave to play games in Toronto, Boston and Baltimore.
