Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has put the brakes on a loan exit for Divock Origi.
The 20-year-old has struggled to break into the first team on Merseyside, but is set to start his second consecutive game in the Europa League against FC Sion this evening, report The Times.
Rodgers believes it is a 'matter of time' before Origi starts showing the qualities which persuaded the Reds to sign him from Lille for £10million last summer.
The Northern Irishman has challenged Origi to battle with Christian Benteke, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings for a regular starting berth.
