Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers isn't ready to dump Andy Carroll just yet.
The Sun says the England striker played in a behind-closed-doors fixture yesterday morning - with Daniel Agger and Pepe Reina.
Carroll faces an uncertain future under the new Anfield chief, who will offload him if a big enough chunk of his £35million fee can be recouped.
The 23-year-old did not score in a game that was abandoned before the hour mark because of a serious injury to Rochdale's Reece Gray.
But he helped set up Glen Johnson for the Reds' opener, with Nathan Ecclestone also on target.
