Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers isn't ready to dump Andy Carroll just yet.

The Sun says the England striker played in a behind-closed-doors fixture yesterday morning — with Daniel Agger and Pepe Reina.

Carroll faces an uncertain future under the new Anfield chief, who will offload him if a big enough chunk of his £35million fee can be recouped.
