Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was snappy with reporters yesterday over questions regarding Mario Balotelli.
He admitted that Liverpool would not contest Balotelli's one-match ban for an anti-Semitic Instagram post.
"We accept the ban, that is fairly clear," he said.
But when asked whether he had seen signs of the 24-year-old showing greater maturity at Anfield since arriving from AC Milan in August, Rodgers delivered a non-committal response.
"He is here as a football player and is trying to become a better player," Rodgers said.
When asked whether Liverpool would look to add to their squad in January, Rodgers replied simply, "I'm not even thinking about that."
