Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says Steven Gerrard "wasn't close" to making their FA Cup draw with Blackburn Rovers.
The midfielder was unavailable to face Rovers as he continues to recover from a hamstring issue, but the boss expects his skipper to be in contention for the trip to Swansea City next up.
Rodgers said: "Steven wasn't close [today]. He's been working very well, he's still with the rehab team.
"He'll be back training next week, I'm sure, and available for the Swansea game."
