Liverpool boss Rodgers expects Swansea taunts today

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready for the mickey-taking from Swansea City fans today.

Despite an obvious sense of embarrassment that Liverpool manager Rodgers goes back to the Liberty on Saturday with his former club above him in the table, he insists he will accept the cat-calls with good grace, because he has no regrets about leaving.

"I really don't know what sort of reception I will get, but yes, I think it's inevitable they will point out they are above us in the league," Rodgers said with a smile.

"But even though that's the case right now, for me there are certainly no regrets.

"Swansea was a great time in my life and I will always be grateful for what I experienced there, but really, it doesn't matter that I go back below them in the table.

"What matters is where we are at the end of May. It is about a steady climb and we have been showing that in the games recently after a difficult start."
