Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for Jordan Henderson despite starting him just eight times in the Premier League this season.
According to Rodgers, the 22-year old is improving all the time and expects him to make more of an impact when he does finally force his way into a regular first team position.
"It's just the balance and it depends on the opponent," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo in regards to Henderson starting.
"Jordan has been excellent and his attitude has been great. The team has been winning as well.
"But Jordan has been excellent, he's a good player, he's improving tactically all the time and I know if I need to call on him he will be ready."
