Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has jumped to the defence of Rafa Benitez at Chelsea.
Rodgers reckons that will be of no concern to the Spaniard and claims a run of positive results can help him quickly find favour.
He told talkSPORT: "Rafa will only be focused on the job at hand. We've seen it before - if you can win games then that can override any ill-feeling.
"It's a terrific club Chelsea and the supporters have been used to success now in the last eight to nine years.
"Roberto will obviously feel very harshly done by. In a short period of time he did a terrific job. But the owner puts the money into the club, they make the decisions and you have to run with it.
"It doesn't make it right but Rafa is a very experienced manager and I'm sure he will go in and do a good job in the period he is in there, however long that is."
